1. First conflict, no miracles, plagues, or judgements. Just negotiation.
2. Second conflict, miracle, but no plagues nor judgements. The miracle exposes the real condition of Egyptian life.
3. The magicians' rods become serpents, too. Philosphies similar to what we preach in the gospel. But the gospel swallows up oday's philosophical teachings. Therefore, don't be threatened or discouraged.
4. Third conflict brought in plagues - life in Egypt is not a life of rest and enjoyment, but of blood, or death.
5. Because they did not repent, the exposure becomes a punishment.
6. Magicians were able to bring in the blood, but do not have the means to take it away.
7. 10 plagues in 4 groups (3, 3, 3, 1):
- first group: troublesome, not injurious
- second group: harm to beasts and men
- third group: destroyed environment
- last group: terminated the worldly life.
