Exo Msg 15

1. God spoke to Moses regarding His name and His covenant to train Moses to know His person and His faithful word in His covenant.
2. Further training of Moses is consisted of 6 matters:
a) God's word of assurance - to deliver children of Israel out of Egyptian bondage, to take them to Him for a people, to make them know that He is Jehovah, their God, to make them His armies, to bring them into the promised land
b) unbelief of the children of Israel.
c) Trained in relation to Pharaoh's stubbornness.
d) Trained regarding his natural concept of uncircumcised lip. - to have this attitude indicates that we depend on what we are, not on what the Lord is and on what He can do.
e) God's ordination of Moses, indicated by a record of 3 people, not the entire genealogy. Moses was chosen, commissioned by God and represents God.
- Representation involves authority.
f) God's strong hand that backs His name, His covenant, and His word of assurance.
