Exo Msg 93

1. The first significance of the lampstand is not light, but life.
2. With the lampstand, we have the divine nature, resurrection, Spirit, life, and light.
3. The lampstand becomes seven and they are the church. This implies we are part of the lampstand.
4. The charred portion of the wick is called snuff.
5. The wick signifies humanity not divinity.
6. The wick signifies Christ and us because we easily become charred and need to be snuffed every day.
7. The fact that the lampstand and its knobs and branches are all of one beaten work of pure gold signifies that the entire entity is all purely of Christ's divinity without anything added to it.
8. A priest lighting the lamps signifies that Christ, or anyone who serves as a priest with Christ, keeps the resurrection life shining.
9. The tongs (snuffers) and firepans (snuff dishes) made of pure gold signifies that the trimming, the purifying, must be altogether of the divine nature.
10. One talent (complete unit of weight) signifies Christ as the lampsand shining the divine light in resurrection is perfected and completely weighty.
11. The lampstand followed by the incense altar signifies that the shining of Christ in resurrection as the divine light leads us into contact with God in the sweet fragrance of prayer.
12. In the outer court, there is the natural light.
13. The light in the Holy Place is from the light of the lampstand. This light excludes all human thoughts, concepts, and perspectives.
14. The light in the HH is the light of God's shekinah glory.
