1. In God's full salvation, He wants to be everything to His people and does not want to do anything.
2. The quails belong to the old creation.
3. By eating the heavenly food, we become heavenly people.
4. The quails caused the people to be more fleshly. The nature and substance of the quails correspond to the nature and substance of the children of Israel.
5. The quails and then manna that came made a deep impression on the people.
6. If we continue to lust for worldly things after we are saved, God may give them to us. But He will not be hapy in doing so.
