Exo Msg 47

1. When we defeat the enemy, overcome the world, and deal thoroughly with the flesh shall we be in the kingdom.
2. Moses is a type of Christ interceding for us in the heavens.
3. The fact that Moses needed Aaron and Hur to stay up his hands signifies our need to pray.
4. But often our hands become heavy and we stop praying.
5. Aaron signifies the priesthood and Hur signifies the kingship.
6. Need Aaron to strengthen our spirit because there is a shortage of the priesthood; also need Hur so we don't become rebellious.
7. Our prayer must have in view the building of the church to be able to fight against the flesh.
8. "Lord, I am not able to continue in prayer. I need a solid base for my prayer, and I take You as such a base."
9. On the one hand, we must pray with Christ; on the other hand, we must slay the flesh with the fighting Spirit.
10. If we would deal with our flesh, we must deal with it thoroughly, utterly putting to death all that is good or bad.
11. Dealing with the flesh requires our obedience, following the inner anointing.
